What if you woke up tomorrow and someone had taken over ? There were announcements on the TV that powerful things had come from somewhere and rendered the police and the military useless and were were now required to walk around naked all day. Food would would be free and there would be big neighborhood parties every evening. You would be expected to spend all day, every day laughing and hanging out. The only requirement was that you were cool and treated people well and really tried to groove on the fact that we were on a giant spaceship flying through a mysterious universe on our way to who knows where doing who knows what . Wouldn’t that be a little like the perfect world we left behind ?
