I love Spotify. It gives me access to basically all the music commercially recorded in the world for free. Sometimes what you love kills you. My dreams of making money with music pretty much dissolved with Spotify. The payout is so infinitesimal , you need a Taylor Swift sized hit just to pay rent. So I gotta keep the job and record in the evenings. It is still really nice to have access to a world wide audience. And those $20 dollar checks every so often are like finding sunken treasure.
