The feeling is beyond belief. Watching a band or a solo acoustic player in a small club when the roof just seems to rise. When it becomes more than a song . When the walls star to breathe and you are sucked into a time/space vortex far away from normal life. I”ve found that the very best of musicians can play with time and actually alter the reality of a room.
It is one of those very high experiences. I used to run an open mike so I truly know what the majic is like. After endless hours of bland almost painful performers suddenly one will hit the stage and simply glow with beauty , love ,magic and freedom.
