All The Nice People by Abraham Cloud

abecloud asked:

“Nice People” seems to be a recurring theme in much of Abraham Cloud’s work. Abraham’s, “nice people” are a bit like the Pink Floyd’s English, who live in “quiet desperation.” Most likely these profound visions of the exploited, “Nice,” came from his mother, who Cloud considered a complete victim of society. Forced into the role of single mother with absolutely no support from anyone and a workplace that was hostile and extremely discriminatory towards women she couldn’t stand a chance against her environment. “When you feel the Inequalities of Society as actual hunger pains because your mother is not allowed to make enough money to survive on , it definitely leaves a scar, and opens the mind to see a bit past the propaganda. ” Free Markets, Free Enterprise, even Democracy are just words to the average worker who fights a daily and desperate struggle to keep food on the table and the wolves from the door.

Check out Cloud and a lot of other interesting music
